The Mid-Atlantic Blizzard of January 2016 was a very unpredictable storm that had far reaching impacts, including heavy snow, very strong winds, and significant coastal flooding.
Due to the chaotic nature of the storm, Chester County experienced a wide range of snowfall. Some areas had snow accumulations of nearly 3 feet, while other areas had just over a foot.
As forecasters, this storm became a very tough call. The storm was modeled to stay to the South, but quickly came North, placing Chester County in the midst of a blizzard
The video below is footage from Morgantown, Pa. It was filmed around 2:30PM on 1/23/16 during the heaviest band of the storm. This area is located along the Northwestern border of the county.
